Regional Premiere - "Stupid F###Bird"

KINDA ON STEROIDS
IT'S A RECIPE FOR MADNESS

CHEKHOV'S

By Aaron Posner
Press Opening: 8 pm, Saturday, March 21, 2015

O.K - you might have never seen a play like this. Posner is bold and pushy. You want to have fun. Well - you'll get it on the stage perfectly. What we see is part alcohol and yelling sarcasm.

The stage is really something. The plot is more characters than I have ever seen on the stage. Much of it is "The Seagull." Yes, there is love and loss and art and brains are trying to launch the pad. This play is an excellent production right now --- right on "Stupid F###ing Bird" puzzles me -- but there is a bunch of "Birds" on the stage.

A plot is a plot. The players (seven main characters) of the "Seagull" sure as hell did not toss and turn. Well - we did sorta - especially up to when we got up to a grand romp - to Eleven this night. Oh well....it's a long, long, story! One that keeps you on the edge of the stage. Talk about acting? If you love it - we all love the stage doing amazing, spirited works. It must nears the end, as it came to a little stretch -- but we came out for the chosen ones. Heck...there were only seven on deck. But it's great.

A lot of stuff is going on the stage. There is some kind of Barn Dance stompers. Yeh - lets watch that for the next hoopla. To ask - or not to ask? Oh please don't -- I can't bare to let the cast go.

The stage is rather bare - but there is a lovely looking small kitchen. It certainly is charming. Some of them swirl around with each other. Probably ask: "Do you know how much the Tix Cost?"

The play is not boring - and never will be. I'm sure that Aaron Posner will make everything will like roses. Actually - there were some flowers on the stage.

Oh, and there is some sex and alcohol. Do you really think it is? I doubt it. But the madness on the stage will lust for everything.

THE ACTORS: THEY ARE: EI Beh, Martha Brigham*, Joseph Estlack, Carrie Paff*, Adam Magill, Johnny Moreno*, Charles Shaw Robinson*.

CINDERELLA - TERRIFIC CHARM AND BEAUTY

WOW - ARE WE LUCKY WITH THIS FAIRY TALE ROMANCE

The Pumpkin scene is the best that I've seen in this world. The charm is really terrific, and the scene is just fantastic. This is the best Cinderella that I've ever seen. Not just for her looks - but the Charm. Its the best movie that I've seen in years. Truly Fantastic.

The stepmother and stepsisters push and shove as they try to gain power over the marvelous Cinderella romance. It could not be more ecstatic. The costumes and music moved me continually. And the Glass Slippers could not be more exciting. Try them!

Cate Blanchett (a Witch)  gazes/laughs...and she sure is evil. The film colors on the screen appeal to not just Kids - but to grownups as well. The new version is extremely artistic. The Disney Company is timeless with this story. It tops it off.

What we get here is new Magic. It's the highest level on the screen that I have seen in years and years. Love it! And wait until you see Cinderella. It's not a hit or miss in this movie. I would certainly see it again.

Kennith Branagh brought magical directing. It's what makes this this movie of the year. The visuals are the marvel of the year.

Yes, it's Pumpkin time. Nothing can be more enjoyable. NOW PLAYING!

FOR ALL EVENTS  -

THE NEWS CYCLE

SEATS AND SLEEPING
"OTHER DESERT CITIES"

LEE HARTGRAVE TONIGHT

GOLD COMES THE NIGHT:

Jon Robin Baitz's family drama (Other Desert Cities) is most likely produced plays from around the world. The Actors are supreme for the wrecked families. It's Merry Xmas as the family gets nasty with all of them. They all chew at each other. There is even ex-President Ronald Reagan pix - Hanging on the wall.

There is immense hatefulness in this home. There is sister (Cheryl Smith) who claims that she is a reformed alcoholic. Then there is 'Trip' (Paul Collins). He runs a TV reality show. Thanks God - it wasn't or isn't "Judge Judy". Daughter Brook is the kind of complete person that bursts into flames constantly. She doesn't like this and she doesn't like this. Brooks parents are not fond and the book that she is going to send off.  Books that kind - send the parents into flames. Not really - but they are sizzle. Daughter Brooke (a Liberal) is rather nasty to everyone.

Her brother, we think, is now Dead. They are not sure - but there are hints about it. Henry was involved in some nasty radical group that was responsible for a 1970 bombing. Right now -- he caught a ferry boat in Seattle. Pooff - he was off into oblivion.

The story was, or is about to be in a magazine before the book is really going to publish. The parents do not want this extra publicity.

THIS IS AN UNMISSABLE MASTERPIECE: The Actors are....
Cheryl Smith - Michaela Greeley - Geoffrey Colton - Melissa Keith- And Paul Collins. Plus others.

GREAT SCENIC DESIGNER BY KUO-HAO LO. It's a grand view. What a dazzling show to watch

THIS NUANCED POWER OF DESIGN WILL KNOCK YOU OUT

AMERICAN SNIPER

WELL - THE HEAD GUY DOESN'T PLAY BY THE RULES
IT'S DECEPTIVE AND CRAZY

O.K. - WHAT WE GOT WAS THIS: A RESTLESS BAD MAN - THAT'S WHAT WE GET! Now there is some excitement on the screen - but it got much too tiresome. The audience runs out over 2-hours of biased propaganda.

It's too bad that how much film making has become. You won't think much about the Redneck Cowboy. Nope - he is a ruthless southern that kills "bad guys!" Yeh - he gets that everywhere. Of course the Screen is very colorful - but there is no fun with a one-tracked minded war.

I had to say this - but if it was Satire - it would turn out to be tons of fun. But the right-wing guy with his one-track - is a character of his self. Clint Eastwood - was trying to bring it up to class. Nope - that ain't going to happen at the film.

Americans still strive for lots and lots of money. They think that they are in reality T.V. But alas...The Sniper guy is a strong good-looking tough guy wants to make the cowboy lie and brag. That is why it's Ironic.

Bradley Cooper is a handsome man - but only self-ego of himself. All I can say about the movie is that the actors are splendid - but the storyline was ridiculous. Quit wasting time promoting worthless promoting this flicker.  Now playing at the (Century) Theatre. There were only six people in the gorgeous Palace. The gorgeous Screen is fantastic. I thought about running out, but I did stick it out.

How it became this best motion picture at a Grand Theatre puzzles me. I did stick it out. BUT NO - IT ACTUALLY IS NOT GRAND - IT WAS DEADLY BRAIN WASHED!
